Read on for more information about how you can become the best version of yourself that you can be! * * * ** -learn to tie a necktie -know their manners, at least the basics – know what to say when you are introduced or seated in someone’s home -how to shake hands correctly * learn how to set a table properly, including knowing where each dish goes and its proper place at the dinner table. Knowing this will make entertaining guests easier! * read as much as possible for pleasure — books of course but also magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar * be able to navigate basic social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – these can help with making friends and getting recommendations on places that would suit your interests * have an idea about current affairs so they know what is going on in society * learn the rules of cricket, football (soccer) and cricket -know which fork to use when starting a meal -learn how to tie an ascot or necktie. This is best done by getting some help from someone who knows what they are doing but if that isn’t possible there are many good YouTube tutorials on this topic! * know at least one thing about their country’s history so they can join in conversations with adults – for example: “The war started because…” -always be well groomed – wear clothes that fit them properly; have clean hair and teeth; smell nice, etc. * always keep up appearances! Look your best even when you’re just around home alone or hanging out with friends * have a good handshake – firm but not too strong -learn how to play tennis, squash or golf; it’s the best way for them to spend time outdoors and get some exercise * learn about etiquette – this will make socializing so much easier! Knowing what is appropriate at any given moment of an event (e.g., dinner) means they can relax instead of wondering if their behaviour might come off as rude.”
