I have been bartending for a few years now. I just love the energy and challenge of the job, but it has been some of the hardest work to date. Part of the reason is that I have been bartending with a lot of women who have never bartended before. They are all seasoned professionals, but they have never had a drink before.
I’ve recently had to give bartending a much needed boost because they are a group of men who have been bartending for years. Every day they come to visit me with a big list of things they are dying to do, and the only problem is that most of the things on that list are alcohol related.
So I started to think about how the other women I had worked with had been with me. Were they all the same? Were they all in the same boat? Are they going to get their ass kicked when they make a mistake? How do I get them to go to the back of the boat with me? Well here is my solution: I am going to change the way I approach bartending. I am going to turn this into a game.
I know you’re thinking that I’re talking about a drinking game, but what I’m actually talking about is being the best bartender you can be. You want to be able to create unique cocktails with the hottest new arrivals in the bartender’s arsenal. You want to be able to create drinks that are so good that you can’t make them at home and serve them to your friends so they know how good you are.
You can be a great bartender, but if you only really know how to drink alcohol, you will always fail. There are no shortcuts to good bartending. You have to learn the art of mixing, shaking, and serving to get better and better.
That’s why the next time someone asks you how to mix up a cocktail, you should tell them Bartending 101. It’s a little simpler than you might think. You dont have to be an expert in cocktails to get good. You just need to know how to mix up the perfect mix of ingredients.
You have to learn how to properly mix these things, but the best way to learn how to serve a drink is to get out of the kitchen and serve some people.
