The Disney princess storybook is a great book for young girls (and boys) to read because it teaches the basic elements of fairy tale. The stories are interesting, and the illustrations are fantastic. My daughter LOVES it, so I think this is a great place for a new readers to start.
Disney princess books are fun because they teach you about the characters from a fresh, non-stereotypical perspective. For example, one of the most popular books is “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This book is about a little girl who goes on a quest to find her mother. One of the book’s themes is that the human race is divided into good and bad people. The fairy tale is based on a real event in the history of the human race.
This book is not a good example of the Disney princess books because it’s all very silly and full of happy clichés. That said, it does contain some lessons about the human race to be learned from the story.

In a story they can act. In a story they can be happy. In a story they can be sad. In a story they can be hurt. In a story they can die. In a story they can die and then come back, and be the same person.
