As a manager, you should try to make sure you have a good vision of what you want to achieve, and how you will achieve it. From there, you should look into the technologies that will help you achieve your vision, but make sure you are hiring the proper people for the job.
I’m not sure if that’s an “information systems” thing or a “technology” thing, but it’s hard to remember that the tech you use to do a job may not be the same kind of technology you use when you are at the office. Think on what technologies you use in the office and the types of people you hire to work with them.
