I love the idea that a marketing professor’s salary isn’t much different than a software engineer’s. This is a good reminder that we don’t need to be the top-paid in our field to be successful.
Most of us don’t work as hard as the person in the video, we are just doing our jobs. If you have a job, you have to get it done, and you have to be able to do it in a timely and efficient manner.
This is the truth of it. I have a career that has been going on 20-30 years, and for me, the pay has been great. I also have a family that isnt always at my beck and call. But when I get home from work, I have a few tasks to complete that I feel like are necessary. So I think I have a good paying job, but I don’t think I am paid like a good software engineer.
I think you are right that most of your pay is tied to the number of hours you work, not how much you work.
Well, I am a marketing professor and I am still going to get paid by the hour, but most of my pay is tied to the number of classes I teach, so a few hours a week is very different from being a marketing professor.
Marketing professors are always on the hunt for new ways to spend their money. We have a new app that allows us to do just that, as well as allowing us to create a few new paid services. We are working on ways to make our new app more flexible and we are in the process of testing it out with our students.
The app is called iProfession and it’s basically an online resume, teaching portfolio, and marketing platform all rolled into one. It allows users to upload their resume and teach a few classes (one or two at a time). Once uploaded, users can select their specialty and add a few classes right from the app.
It’s a great idea but we can’t actually do it in a way that’s useful enough to be useful to the average person. The best we can do is to make it as easy as possible for the average person to make the next move. That’s where things get a bit tricky, because we are dealing with people who are more than willing to pay for something they can actually use. The problem is that we can’t really give them that option.
The best I can come up with is that we should allow users to pay for their experience. We could do this in multiple ways. The easiest would be to give users money in the form of credits, which would let them use the app until they paid. The next step would be to charge a small fee for the ability to use the app.
The idea behind this idea is that you will have a small fee charged for the ability to use an app and a small fee for the ability to use the app. This way, you can have different tiers of users (professors, students, etc) who can pay different sums depending on the use they want to make of the app.
