One of the things project coordinators take on is making sure that you’re not missing deadlines. If you’re making a deadline that you know is coming, you might be doing something that requires you to show up and do it today.
This is why project coordinators are always in demand. At one point I worked as a project coordinator for an advertising agency. The agency had a client that had a terrible reputation for having a terrible track record of delivering the campaign’s goals. As a project coordinator, I was tasked with keeping the client on schedule. My job was to ensure that the campaign didn’t fall short of expectations.
