The fact is that I’ve been in the business for 10 years and I’ve never actually seen a single customer get hurt. No one has been killed outright or seriously injured. And even if you did manage to injure someone, the product or service you’re asking for is probably not the one that will kill your client.
A similar question can be asked about the technology broker community. Is the person asking for the service or product licensed to sell the service or product? Is the person asking for the service or product legally permitted to sell it? If not, then theres no way a customer will stand a chance of getting hurt. And if they can’t get hurt, they’ll probably wind up in jail.
If you are asking for a technology broker’s services, you have to be very careful because the people you’re hiring are probably not licensed to do so. But in general, technology brokers are legally allowed to sell any product or service that they can sell in their particular field. If you need to hire a technology broker, ask them what they are licensed to sell. It could be an entire product or service, but you don’t want to pay a broker that you can’t trust.
Technology brokers are generally in the same business as the rest of us. They typically work in the supply chain and are usually the ones that bring things to market. But the best ones have a degree in a specific field, and are in business for a number of years. The worst ones only work for a couple of years, and then leave the industry.

If you are in the supply chain of something and you don’t do a good job of keeping the customer informed, then the customer is at risk. This is a particularly big problem for companies that use technology to provide services. I know, I know, you’re thinking to yourself, “Oh, yeah, tech brokers are the ones who have a degree in a specific field.” But you’re right, and you should know.
If you are doing something that affects your customer, you need to make sure that you are being transparent with them about your business and your expectations. If you do not do that, then you risk having your customers and competitors think you are a jerk with no respect for them.
Yes, the tech broker elite needs to be transparent to their customers. They need to be able to give a good enough reason for a customer to trust their business with them. If you do not give that to your customer, then either they will not trust you with them, or they will think that you are a dick with no respect for them.
In our case, we wanted to offer our customers something special. We wanted to make sure that they trusted us. If they had a bad experience with a competitor, then they can call us to complain. If they are dissatisfied with what they have, they can call us to complain. We have been very transparent about this in our marketing materials.
