As I write this it’s already summer and I am getting ready to take my family on a vacation to the Florida Keys. The first thing I did once I got home was go to the kitchen and grab a glass of wine. I was going to make a salad to go with the wine, but I didn’t want to waste any of the ingredients and I knew I’d be eating the same thing all week long.
For this particular trip, I was making the usual salad and then I was going to add the dressing to it. I dont know how, but I just wanted to make sure the salad was done before I started eating.
Washing your salad is a pretty common thing, but most people do it without thinking about it. It just happens automatically for all of us, so when it happens sometimes I wonder why it happens.
Sure, making your salad is pretty common, but if you add the right ingredients to it it can make it taste better and better. I happen to be a big fan of adding lots of veggies to my salads, but I have a few rules that I follow when it come to it.

It’s pretty simple really, just put your favorite high-quality dressing ingredients on the salad and then let it marinate for at least an hour. I like to use the same dressing ingredients I use for my salad, and then I only make one salad at a time. For example, I might use a yellow mustard but I might go with a different yellow mustard recipe.
I also use lots of oil and some salad dressings I use for my salad. I think I use about 8 tablespoons of oil, which makes up about a quarter of the dish.
