Hes a character that is constantly on the look out for a break in his business. Hes the person who is so rich that he doesnt even have to work. Hes the person to avoid at all costs.
There is a lot to like about Montero. He is smart, paranoid, and completely insane. Yet he is, in fact, so rich that you dont even have to work at his company. It is this last one that stands out the most to me. Hes an insane man who has been able to build his empire so quickly that he doesnt have to do any kind of work.
When Montero starts out, my first thought was that he must be so very rich because he doesnt have to do anything! But then I realized that he owns an entire city with a small army. He actually owns the island! Thats insane! He has a life! A purpose! And I get it. Montero has a reason for being on this island. And we know that this island is where the visionaries are kept.
