It is difficult to imagine that it is more than two years since we launched watts marketing services. We have been around for over 15 years as a marketing agency and as a person who sells products and services. Our clients are some of the most important people in a company, whether that means you are a CEO or just a regular customer who happens to be looking for a new marketing team.
It is still so hard to believe that we have been around longer than that. But at the same time, we don’t really have a choice in that. We’ve been around for so long that we got some pretty good experience doing things that a lot of other small agencies don’t have.
It’s been eight years since we made our first sale to an agency. It’s been eight years since we started to sell a product or service to a client. And that’s how we got here.
But, the fact is that it takes a lot to get into the business of marketing yourself. It takes more than just ability. It takes some experience. And you also need a strong team to actually make the effort.
The more experience you have, the more you will want to take the time to learn how to market yourself. The more experience you have, the more experienced you will become in marketing. The more experience you have, the more of the team you have to work with. Its never easy to get into the business of marketing yourself, especially if youre not a tech-savvy person.
marketing yourself? Like I said, I think that’s an easy one to say, but you have to take it one step at a time. I’ve always been a pretty tech-savvy person and I’ve been able to work just about anywhere. But I’ve still been pretty much clueless about marketing myself. I’m sure you can relate.
I think marketing is something you can do. Especially with a company that has a tech-savvy founder. And yes, the tech-savvy founder is probably the best person to do it. But the other people on the team are all pretty much the same. You will be marketing to the tech-savvy founder’s team. Then you will have to market yourself to the rest of the team.
I think you get the idea. The reason Watts is so effective is because the guys who work on the tech-savvy team are all actually tech-savvy. They understand how technology works and they know how to set it up for success. They aren’t just lazy or incompetent. So when Watts says they need to learn how to market themselves, they want to sell themselves. That’s why they use the marketing tactics that work.
You will never sell yourself unless you know you can sell yourself. So marketing (and selling) isnt just a skill you need to learn (its a profession) but something you must do to get ahead.
